Amboseli National Park is located in Kajiado County, Kenya. It covers 392 square kilometers. It is bounded to the South by the well renowned Mt.Kilimanjaro on the Tanzanian border hence offering an ideal view of this mountain.

It is one of Kenyan renown parks that have gained allot of fame besides the Masai Mara National Park and Nairobi National Park.

What to find in Amboseli National Park

This park is mostly known for its large numbers of  elephants. It is the only national park in Kenya with over 65o elephants. Apart from elephants, there are  over 400 bird species and over 80 mammals, which makes it an ideal site for bird watching  and wildlife experience to tourists. Some of the animals include lions, cheetahs, leopards, antelopes, generuks, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, wildebeest, hyenas, monkeys and others. (more…)
